***DESPERATE FINAL MOMENTS PLEA FOR ROMEO*** TODAY IS HIS LAST DAY**** His name is ROMEO & HE DESERVES TO LIVE REGARDLESS!*** We think he might have been abused and certainly wasnt trained. He was dumped at the shelter over 3 months ago. He is a good sized boy and he needs work.... but isnt there an experienced dog person who can help him??? He is toy possessive. He needs someone that understands how to work with a pup on that. These types of behaviors start out of fear that you are going to take his toy and not give it back. Some people say start by feeding a dog like this food out of your hands only, and giving him toys only when he has earned it (like- sit / lay down) He will need to have a good amount of exercise too! And at this point until he gets over his toy possession, I would say no other dogs or children around. If someone can save this boy, please call the shelter.
