DIAPER DOG UPDATE!! Glory to GOD we have a miracle!!! Ok so I am so excited to finally share this with everyone... About 4 months or so (prob longer Im horrible with time frames) if u remember my dog became paralyzed. Well I was told I needed to put him down but I couldnt. They said give 2 weeks and however he wasnt better completely I could still see some slight improvement and so I got a wheelchair, invented a great way to use our kids diapers (thanks Bree Schoen in that) and I watched him learn to live his life with no back legs. He still wasnt as happy but he seemed happy enough. I still had pressure to put him down and I honestly wrestled but each time I came to the conclusion that if I put him down it was only because I didnt want to care for a special needs dog. He wasnt in pain and then I did get another lil dog. To help ease the kids feelings if we did out Reggie down. And what a miracle that ended up being !!!! We also have a cat and the kittens that bring extreme joy to Reggie. Today Reggie is actually walking again !!!! Hes not walking perfect and he does still have major issues with his legs and there is still partial pat alizarin. HOWEVER ITS A MIRACLE HE IS WHERE HE IS AND I GIVE ALL GLORY TO GOD!!!! He still has bladder issues as well and stil has to diaper but he is actually showing some improvement there... Just dont get him excited!! Lol. He is a great dog and I feel again God showed his presence in my life yet again. Life is hard right now for me (for most people I know) but I know that I am blessed. I have a lot more then I dont. And it am gonna keep growing and listening to god and not others. Im so thankful that I didnt miss out on this miracle due to selfishness!!! I am going to end up making a shirt to raise money for Reggie to see a dr and poss look at a surgery. I obviously cant afford to do this myself but hes a special dog and I think we can raise awareness to back problems in daschund sand other dogs and that it doesnt have to mean death. Id Ive to help Reggie and then maybe others. Hes an awesome dog. EVEN IN A DIAPER!!! HEY Joseph Search-Carter do u think I could use that drawing u made of Reggie in his diaper as the design on the shirt? It maybe you could draw a really good version of one especially for the shirt?
