DID YOU KNOW: Electronics specialist John McArthur, 59 got a nasty surprise when he was informed that his minimum wage contract was not being renewed by the company he was working for !! The DWP then informed him he was to stay on at the same company for six more months with out pay to get experience in a job that he was over qualified for, and grossly under paid for !! He refused out of principle and was immediately sanctioned and now lives on his small pension and survives on charity, and tins of cheap spaghetti and will have no heating untill he can find employment again, at the moment he is applying for any paid job, no matter what it is. There are hundreds of thousands of people like John who magically disappear from the unemployment figures and that in turn helps prop up the Tory myth that life is just so dam great in Britain under such a caring government, who seem to do wonders with all their statistics and figures...
