DID YOU SEE BRICK THROWN FROM TAMWORTH BRIDGE? Tamworth Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on A5 at approximately 325pm this afternoon, Saturday 23rd November. The driver was driving along the A5 under the footbridge which crosses at Kettlebrook Road, close to Balti 2000 when a brick was thrown down from the bridge and struck the vehicles windscreen. The impact was such that the windscreen was caused to shatter, covering the passenger in shattered glass. Clearly incidents of this nature are extremely serious and could have caused serious injury. If you have information regarding this please call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting reference 460 of 23rd November, for the attention of PC PEARSON.
