DID you see how a man sustained a broken nose following an assault at the Bus Station in Grimsby Town Centre on Wednesday 09 April 2014? A 23 year old man was walking from the direction of Freeman Street towards to the bus station between 2000hrs and 2030hrs. As he made his way towards the number 45 bus stand he accidentally bumped into an unknown man. A verbal altercation then took place between the two men. This resulted in the unknown man assaulting the 23 year old man. The 23 year old was taken to DPOW hospital in Grimsby and later transferred to HRI for treatment to a broken nose. This resulted in a metal plate being placed into his jaw. Police believe that at the time the incident took place, there was a large number of people in the area of the bus station who may have seen what happened.
