DISIPLESHIP : 98% of be a Christian is winning souls to Christ, now catching the fish is one thing cleaning it is another In Christianity, the term disciple primarily refers to students of Jesus and is found in the New Testament only in the Gospels and Acts. The New Testament records many followers of Jesus during his ministry, but only some became disciples. Some disciples were given a mission, such as the Little Commission, Lukes commission of the 70, the Great Commission after the resurrection of Jesus, or the conversion of Paul, making them Apostles, charged with proclaiming the Good News (or Gospel) to the world. In Matthew 16:24 Jesus said, Then Jesus said to his disciples, Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. This is rejecting self pleasures, being committed to pray, taking on the hardships of the world, chasing souls, showing mercy as you was given mercy, and above all things loving EVERYONE with the same love Christ has extended to you! Is there a Christian that can say they follow all these to a T ? Of course not, they lying if they say they do. Look here, the first thing you need to know about discipleship is this. YOU WILL NOT WIN EVERY SOUL, CAUSE EVERY SOUL IS NOT MEANT TO BE WON,AND EVERY SOUL IS NOT YOURS TO BE WON!!!!!! The vast majority of the world is goin to hell. I know that sounds kind of harsh but its in the Word, Jesus Himself said this. Matthew 7:13 Jesus said, Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. If you are really tuned in to the Holy Spirit, then share in your soul winning. What do I mean by that??? If you sitting there talking to someone you know you cant reach, find a Christian brother or sister that can ASAP and get them to them. YOU NOT GON WIN ALL OF THEM CAUSE ALL OF THEM WAS NOT MEANT FOR YOU TO WIN. The ones you disciple to NEVER and I mean NEVER teach them to pass up on a chance to win a soul or that persons blood will be your own hands. In EZEKIEL 3:18, “When I say to a wicked person, You will surely die, and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.” There is much more to this if you have any question hit me up cause if I got some Im gon ask you, cause just cause you see me writing this stuff dont mean I know everything.
