DIVINE INTERVENTION - On 25th May 2009 after attending d oil expo- OTC in Houston & visiting wit friends in New Jersey USA, i left Newark aboard Virgin Atlantic for UK to see my sons, on my way back to Nigeria. Seated besides me in economy was one Rev Fr Tim ONeill an affable Irish priest. He was good company & we chatted & bantered tru 8hrs transAtlantic flight to d UK. It was also good comfort dat at 35,000feet if something had gone wrong God wud have seen us together. Afta a rather uneventful flight, we made our approach to land at Heathrow UK. An announcement came from d Pilot dat due to bad weather we may be diverted to Manchester airport. My heart sank @d news. I just lost my mother inlaw 2wks earlier while in US & was in hurry to get back home. At d news Fr ONeill went into silent prayers & it made me glad at his appeal to HQtrs for intervention. While he was almost done anoda announcement came dat conditions had improved @d London area & we wud b making our landing as scheduled @Heathrow. I was overcome wit joy & congratulated Rev Fr Tim for his successful appeal.To my surprise he smiled no it didnt quite work out, i live in Manchester, dats my final destination. Hmmm........God works in mysterious ways!!!
