#DJFujiProTip: Heres a quick tip on how to sound more confident (which will in turn make you FEEL more confident, which will in turn make you behave more confident): When someone asks you a routine question (e.g., at the drs office) like, what city do you live in or whats your name, answer the question with a falling or downward tonality, as if theres a very firm period at the end of the sentence. So if the nurse at the doctors office asked me for my name, Id say Darren. NOT Darren? That sounds silly to imagine, but pay attention the next time youre in that scenario. A LOT of people end up answering questions with a rising tonality as if theyre asking a question. Watch the video below (at 1:33) for a great example. The girl answers both her name and her city as if there is a question mark at the end of her sentence. Its a totally normal thing to hear people do, but it displays a subtle lack of confidence, so your best bet is to end all of your sentences with falling tonality. Video: buff.ly/1EuQ8Se
