DJs always talking about digital vs analog, or whats the greatest/wackest record. Which is all good. But youre not a real (good) DJ if you dont factor in the social aspect of djing. What have you done? What was your best/worst night? What separates you from others? You can scratch all day, or have the rarest 7, but where have you played it? What was the reaction when you played that record? Have you DJd outside of your comfort zone? Id rather hear a DJ with a good selection of music who doesnt mix, than a hot shot with a lap top or a goof-ball with a crate of vinyl no one has, or cares about. Rare reggae, I get it! Im sick of these music aficionado punks! lol. What is you musical revolution?
