You know at this point it’s just apple and oranges to me This tug of war battle, this need to be free Two people drifting apart to separate shores Stamping their feet at multiple doors I watch helplessly to the side Maybe I hold the key? To unlock the fates Of the two fools that I see Their love is in the air Bold and blamelessly clear So why can’t they see There is no need for the tears But day after day They whittle away Should I step in before?
