DOMICILIARY CARE ASSISTANT in Witney We’re looking for self-motivated caring individuals who wish to work as part of a team in a well-established supportive company. Area to cover: Witney A range of full time and part time hours are available including days, evenings and weekends. Rates of pay are from £9.04 to £14.9 per hour. We also offer guaranteed hours, 28 days holiday and pensions. The ideal care worker is caring, punctual, enthusiastic, enjoy a challenge and be flexible in their approach to work to enable vulnerable people to remain as independent as possible in their own home. By enabling independence and providing continuity of care, an Abicare Carer’s role is to care for service users in their own home in a way which respects their dignity and promotes independence. This may include: 1. Supporting with personal care 2. Medication management 3. Meal preparation 4. Companionship 5. Shopping and light domestic duties 6. Ensuring that the individual receives a high level of care Successful applicants will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check and attend a two week induction course at our local office. Unlike other care providers, care industry experience is not necessary as we offer in-depth training that will equip you with the knowledge and the skills to provide care and support to vulnerable people in their own homes. Fast Tracked Recruitment If you are an experienced Care Worker, have registered with the DBS update service and can evidence that you have successfully completed the Common Induction Standard Programme, we may be able to fast track you through the recruitment process though we would still need to apply for references and assess your learning needs before you are able to work alone.
