I knew you are going to make some noise in Sierra Leone out of your visit to Canada. But just to let you know that your visit is a controversial one in the minds of so many Sierra Leoneans here. You also saw the kind of worshipers who went to worship there god, on the day of her arrival, and also the poorly attended town hall meeting that was called for all Sierra Leoneans to go. Out of a thousand plus Sierra Leoneans, it was less than twenty people who attended it. Very disgraceful and a big shame for such an attendance.It is also disgraceful to know that, the so called dinner that was made for Dr. Blyden was done by NIGERIANS rather than the Sierra Leone community. What a shame ! that can also inform you that the community does not approve of your visit. Even the hypocrites could not get the support they needed from the community because it was a few mens business in order to get political gains. Please NOTE THAT I AM NOT AGAINST YOUR VISIT, AS A GOVERNMENT OFFICER REPRESENTING OUR COUNTRY SIERRA LEONE , BUT THE MANNER OF WHICH YOUR VISITATION WAS MADE, AND THE KUKU-JUMUKUU APC / SALNAM MANITOBA BUSINESS IS WHAT SOME OF US ARE AGAINST. As things are getting unfolded, the secretary general of SLPP Canada, Manitoba chapter, by the name of Mr. Victor KaiCombey has done an extensive research about the visit of Dr. Blyden in connection with her motives, the people who invited her and if her visit is official and politically motivated.Interestingly, Dr. Blyden is saying that the Sierra Leone community here, in Winnipeg, Canada invited her, and supported her statement by publishing the invitation letter on her awareness times news paper, dated June 30, 2014. How could the Sierra Leone Nationals Association of Manitoba, here in Canada be inviting a high profile government officer without an official knowledge of Sierra Leoneans, the executives of SALNAM and its council members, only the signatory ( name) of SALNAM president and APC representatives here are on the invitation letter? If really the letter was coming from our community, SALNAM, There would have been a general membership meeting of all Sierra Leoneans, and the invitation letter signed by the president, and any of his executive members, like the secretary general. These are some of the issues raised by Mr. KaiCombey. Very genuine questions and concern.Our community organization, SALNAM has now been politicized by some corrupt and selfish people been brainwashed just for their own selfish desire. As Mr KaiCombey put it in his piece to the community, captured : THE POLITICS OF APC CANADA, MANITOBA CHAPTER vs. SALNAM: WHO IS FOOLING WHO? ONLY THE SILENCE !! I will not be silence, while Dr. Blyden will be making so many noise out of the corrupt and dubious fake letter of invitation that was sent to her, at the detriment of our community. Was Dr. Blyden really invited by our community? a question to be answered by our leaders here.All that was done here in Canada, is to promote Dr. Blyden, and also some of our community leaders to gain favour. As one of the selfish man said, Dr. Blyden go make me minister, or government officer wae ee bee president after the next ten year. SOLUTIONS As recommended by Mr. Victor KaiCombey, in one of his piece to the community, Mr. Sesay, SALNAM president and his administration should issue out a press release to the community, and be publish in most of the news papers in Sierra Leone, disclaiming that SLNAM did not write that invitation letter, neither be part of the arrangement for the visit of Dr. / Ms Blyden to Canada. And also for the medical supplies that she is making noise for. Sylvia do you really think you was going to get away with these.
