Couples for Christ SOME MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT As ULS Principal (SY 2003 – SY 2010) - Initiated the proposal of the Enhanced Science Curriculum of ULS and successfully defended to the USM Board of Regents. This curriculum had greatly improved the quality of education of the students. The first graduates of this curriculum was last March 2008. - Revitalized the linkages of ULS to the Alumni who have greatly improved the school facilities such as: a. renovation of the ULS Convention Center which serves as the training ground of ULS and USM students in sports, arts, etc. This center also serves as the conference hall of the whole university and those outside the university. b. library by giving books and other library materials c. Instructional materials like projector, microscopes, etc. d. securing the ULS area by fence donations - Create strong linkage with the parents who provided water system, electric fans for the rooms, water dispensers, computers, butterfly garden for ecosystem instruction, equipment for the Audio-Visual Room, etc. Help ULS to maintain the strong linkage with the Growth with Equity in Mindanao. - Developed linkage with the Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM) which provided ULS internet connections and 12 units of computers. - Link with the Local Government Unit which provided instructional facilities and pavement of the ULS road - Link with the Provincial Government which improve the road before it was cemented. The provincial government provided limestone and machineries. - Link with other schools and institutions that greatly help ULS. As University of Southern Mindanao Faculty Association President (2002 – 2006) - Passed to the USM Board of Regents the conversion of overloads to service credits and leave credits - The first Collective Negotiation Agreement was made between the USMFA and USM Administration. The faculty and staff of the University received the CNA Incentive of P10,000.00. Faculty and Staff also received yearly an amount of P1,200 for athletic and socio-cultural allowance as stipulated in the CNA. - Passed to the BOR several resolutions for the Faculty Members’ benefit - In her term as USMFA President, the association had realized the construction of the USMFA building. As Dean of the College of Education (March 2011 – November 2011) - Improve the College of Education in terms of its landscape and physical condition. - Improved the Curriculum - Initiated the improvement of entrance requirement of the College - Unique celebration of the CED 50th Founding Anniversary with the concerted efforts of the students, faculty and staff, and other stakeholders - Initiated the re-painting of the CED building with the help of the CED Alumni - established good relationship and camaraderie among the members of the faculty and staff D.
