DR STEPHEN DAVIS; AUSTRALIAN TERROR NEGOTIATOR This maverick Australian Negotiator, Dr Stephen Davis said, “By the time Goodluck Jonathan became president Boko Haram had become a potent weapon with a command structure embedded in 16 northern states fanned by support from corrupt politicians.” So, I would like to raise issues in form of questions. I seek clear answers. 1. Fanned by Support from Corrupt Politicians from the 16 States of the North since 2011, under the sponsorship of the same Gen Ihejirika that they want to take to war crimes tribunal? 2. If the Australian Negotiator is working for FG, how would he put up a report that will put FG in the wrong light? 3. If he has the confidence of the terror groups he has been working with, as a negotiator, how would he come and declare publicly who their sponsors are? Is he closing business with them? Why? 4. If he has worked for FGN for over a decade, spanning OBJ’s time, Yar ‘Adua’s time, and wanted to work for GEJ, why is it that this is the only time he is giving Press release on his findings? 5. How is it that conscious effort are made by the interviewer to exonerate Buhari, El-Rufai, and APC members from this terror sponsorship allegations? Yet these two and their associates have spoken in defense of Boko Haram, and against FG’s attempt to eliminate them, using the military operations. 6. Why did this negotiator find it appropriate to withhold the identity of his CBN staff, after giving clues that could narrow it down to some opposition elements, just not to prejudice investigation, but was quick to mention Ihejirika, without giving reasons for the assertion, whereas he gave clear reasons on the case of Sheriff? 7. Why is GEJ’s opposition trying to use this to insinuate that GEJ and the old South-Eastern Regions of SS and SE are most likely the secret sponsors of Boko Haram? Another attempt to use the unfortunate, conquered Ndi Igbo as the usual scape goats of any disturbances in the North and West – a post civil war agreement between Core-North and South-West to keep Igbo population down? 8. Does this not look like a well-planned project of the opposition, in collaboration with OBJ, as we saw during his famous letter? No assertions, just probing questions.
