DRAGs first match against an external team may not have had a favourable result - yet was a memorable outing nonetheless. Firstly the negatives... normally one likes to start with positives... but in this case since there is only one, might as well get over with it... We lost... apart from that everything else were positives. Vikas Bagaria, Tushar Agarwal and Gaurav Sharma bowled superbly with the new ball. Gaurav went on to take 4 wickets in the match and Tushar bowled economically giving only 18 runs from his four overs. Other bowlers also bowled well, but the match was taken away by a red capped batsman (whose name is inconsequential for this post) hitting 10 sixes and scoring a century. In the batting department Anuj Kumbhat, Prabjot Singh Malhotra, Rajeev Bhatia and Vivek Gupta were outstanding.... Vivek with his high backlift stroke making was the highest scorer from our side. Some catches were dropped in crucial moments... but Abhigyan Mundhra made up with a low diving catch. In the end a lot of pointers to be taken to the drawing board and worked upon, before our next outing... whatever the result, the DRAG sprit was intact and celebrated
