DUI Involved Collision At approximately 8 a.m. this morning, near the intersection of Brookhurst Street and Adams Avenue, a white truck lost control and veered off the road. The truck hit a brick wall and sheared off a telephone pole at the base. No other vehicles were involved and no one was injured. The driver was the only person in the truck. The driver showed signs of impairment and officers conducted a DUI investigation. The driver was arrested for DUI and a warrant for a prior DUI. This is just a reminder of what can happen while driving impaired. Luckily no one was injured. As we close in on the holidays, there will be more celebrations, social gatherings and parties. Designate a sober driver, call a taxi, Lyft or Uber or make arrangements to get home safe. Dont Drink and Drive.
