DWNHIGHLIGHTS: A visit to Kagini Health Clinic, under the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) would leave no one in doubt of the pitiable and sorry state of the clinic due to its numerous challenges. For a clinic that serves three communities, Kaba, Guidna and Kagini, of not less than 2,000 population each to boast of only two wards -the labor and out-patient unit wards, is indeed worrisome. At Kagini Health Centre, seven patients are already a crowd in view of the limited space available there. The only two wards with three beds in each of them can only accommodate not more than six patients at a time. On many occasions, the hospital management is left with no other option than to refer the rest to Kubwa General hospital, a distance of not less than 20kilometers away. __ SL8.IT for Blackberry
