Dad has had several good days in a row. Most of the family came up for Thanksgiving to visit. He actually came over to the Fisher House where weve been staying while hes been at the VA. We took him for a stroll on Saturday and Sunday and he said he felt like he had gotten out of prison. He got a good dose of some vitamin D and some fresh air. Today he walked about 250 ft without the walker but with assistance. He also walked up 4 steps. Hes hopefully getting ready to come home in the next few days. Going to do rehab at home with all kinds of healthcare. Tomorrow will be 3 months since dads surgery. Been a long haul but hes doing so much better. We are all so grateful and blessed to have him with us. Thanks to everyone again for the concern and prayers. Life is good and God is good!
