Dad passed away last night from congestive heart failure. He had moved in with me after Easter and had been under hospice care after a bout with pneumonia in May. He had all of his faculties and did the daily Star crossword until a week ago. He used an Ipad everyday and was better at it than I am! We didnt even have a hospital bed until Sat! He was 93, had his drivers license renewed this summer and drove a few times just fine.So blessed that he got to meet Bryce and held him again just last week. Mom passed last Oct 3 and he was ready to join her. Stephanie said since he hadnt eaten in a few days, he probably was expecting her to have dinner ready for him like always. Arrangements will be beginning of next week at Legacy Funeral Home at Memorial Park on Washington St. Thanks to all of you for thoughts and prayers over this last week.
