Dad passed away this morning about 6:45. Not only did I lose my Dad I lost my best friend. This man lived his life as a true man of GOD. He taught me what it means to love your wife and your family and others like Jesus loves His Church- and that family comes before everything else in this world. This is also the man who taught me how to drive a nail to build anything out of a piece of wood. (The only thing we was not able to teach me was how to weld. The one thing I wanted to learn.) Dad I love you and missing you so much already. Every time I pick up a hammer I will be thinking of you and wishing I could ask your opinion on how to do it. Dads services will Saturday morning at 10:00 am at Vondel Smith funeral home on South Western. We will have 2 viewings prior to the services: Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 Friday 4:00 - 8:00
