Daddy and I are sad today, our furend Kujo went to the Rainbow Bridge today. He was from an alledged reputable breeder and had 4 different genetic deffects from improper breeding. Just because things look good doesnt mean they are! Rock in Peace Kujo! Please read what Miss Annette Wrote about her wonderful Kujo! Miss Annette writes; Just a reminder, if you are buying a puppy from a pet store you are buying a puppy from parents who live in horrible, hellish conditions in puppy mills. If you are buying a puppy from a reputable breeder you must also think twice. Its all about money. Many reputable breeders cross breed for the almighty buck and then you know what happens? You get puppies with genetic disorders. Kujos Vet said that he was the poster child of genetic disorders. His breeders surroundings and parents looked clean, well maintained, just an all around decent place with lots of land and dogs roaming. Even Kujos former vet, rest his soul, knew her and took care of her dogs. No one will ever know if she cross bred. Kujo had multiple genetic disorders. At least 4 that we know of. We were lucky to have him almost 12 years. I think back now with the knowledge I have gained and really question her practices. I know some breeds are destined to suffer from certain disorders but 4??!! I am sad and angry. I know our pets wont live our lifetime but the pain is more than I expected. Please, please, please, adopt, dont, shop. And only buy from a reputable breeder, informed 100%. And I add; Be the Voice; Speak for Us!
