Rather than coming into relationships, conversations or acquaintanceships with an open heart, they came with rancor and a bitter heart. Now that I’ve removed myself from them, whether by their passing from this physical life, or just by my own moving from the town or city where they lived, I can truly feel sorry for them. If you find that your grief, your sorrow, produces in you a spiteful unkindness, then take some time to realize that loving other is a better way to walk through your days. After all, love overlooks all flaws. So, say, “I need to be more loving.” To love means bringing less of you into the mix, and focusing more on others. Everyone is a teacher.
