Daily Prayer Break: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 We invite you to take 3 minutes in prayer with us. Pause, Read, Reflect… Pause: Take a moment to center yourself. Focus on your breath. As you breathe in, repeat the prayer, “Jesus I trust in You.” Allow the prayer to center yourself around God’s love -- a love that is living, working, moving, and guiding us in all we do, every moment of every day. Read: Our Gospel today: MT 13:44-46 Jesus said to his disciples: “The Kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field, which a person finds and hides again, and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls. When he finds a pearl of great price, he goes and sells all that he has and buys it.” Reflect: 1) What is God speaking to me about through this Gospel? 2) Would I give everything I have to gain the Kingdom? Final prayer: Lord my God, nothing matters more than my relationship with You, help me always keep you first. -Amen. Even online, we are a community -- a family -- united through prayer.
