Daily gratitude, days 9-11 since I missed the day before yesterday and yesterday. Day before, I worked for six hours uploading shows to the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) website. I was so ready to bolt and get out of the house, and was thankful for my favorite bar Bar Louie - Nashville not being far away, and enjoyed a couple drinks and apps. I later visited my old work stomping grounds at Hotel Indigo Downtown Nashville and I felt like I had never left. I was hugged and missed by everyone, and vice-versa. My boyfriend made us a DELICIOUS, spicy dinner and spent the evening in. Yesterday I really enjoyed the day working on printing new labels for my CDs that I sell, and coming up with ideas for titling the new album. While it wasnt exactly warm, I still sat on the deck working on these things, enjoying the relaxation and quiet. I was grateful to be able to do what I wanted to do. I cooked last night, and we watched season 3 of EAST Bound and DOWN, which I cant seem to get enough of. That show is HILARIOUS. Today I am thankful for feeling motivated. There is so much change in my life these days, its hard to stay focused on one thing and I may have lost slight motivation for something else but that changed over night, and today I am back. Thankful just to be doing what I love, thankful for this day, the rain, the shine, everything.
