Daisy Mae Winnett: 25 December 2010 ~ 9 October 2014 A joyous tribute to a joyous girl ~ in very loving memory of Daisy Mae Winnett, whose life was tragically cut short whilst on holidays in coastal Victoria with her Mum, Sue Winnett and fur sister Pepper. We all loved Daisy Mae. She came into Sue’s life as a ‘rescue’ on 13 May 2013, and within days it was as though she had lived nowhere else. She revelled in the company of her new sister Pepper, and the other animals in Sue’s mini-farmyard. She loved them all. Most of all she loved her Mum, Sue, with a devotion that was instant, and reciprocated in full. Where Sue and Pepper went, so too did Daisy ~ even sitting out the Shows in her crate with great good humour whilst Pepper earned her ribbons. Losing this joyful sprite was shocking. One moment filled with life, the next ... gone with a suddenness that was unbelievable. We have all cried a river for Sue and for Pepper, and for Daisy Mae. We’ll cry another river as we watch this Tribute to Daisy Mae, created with Sue’s images, crafted by Sally Martin. Sue, we thank you for bringing such love and care into Daisy Mae’s life, and for sharing her with us, your extended family.
