Daisy update...we thought we were going to pick her up today at the UF sm animal hospital, but last night she developed a fever and free air by her trachea. She went to surgery today and had a tear in her esophagus, they were able repair ir. They placed a feeding tube for her nutritional needs. She will be in the hospital another week. Probably will have to have another surgery to de ride the infection in her deep tissue. They have changed her antibiotics and keeping her sedated. She is not being ventilated. Vital signs are good, it will be an up hill road. We need a lot of prayers.
