Dan Allen Gray Sr., 70 passed away February 28, 2014. Beloved husband of Joann Coates Gray for 34 years. Born in Wichita, Ks Oct. 8, 1943. He was a member of the United States Army Special Forces during the Vietnam era. A native of Southern Louisiana for 40 years, he lived his dream by operating Maison Revé Farm and Bed & Breakfast. A proud member of a competition barbecue team, he also loved to hunt, and was a master craftsmen who enjoyed building and creating. He was immensely loved by his family and friends, and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his brother Terry Gray. He is also survived by his 7 children, Dan A. Gray jr. (Pam), Michael. Gray (Dana), Brian Gray (Mai), Patrick Gray, Herb Anderson (Jane), David Anderson (Una), and Suzanne A. Bush. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Devin, Alexis, Jena, Abigail, Hannah, Vaughn, Neil, Emily, Blake, Christine, Jamie, Juliane, and Anthony. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 8th at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 N. New Hampshire St, Covington, La. A committal will take place after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Dan Gray to Christ Episcopal Church are preferred.
