Deputy Superintendent December 11, 2013 The Exploration Academies at Mill Ridge Additional Information Session: January 27, 2014 – Rogers Park Middle School Dear parents and guardians of current fifth, sixth, and seventh grade students, In order to ensure that everyone who wishes to attend an information session regarding the opening of The Exploration Academies at Mill Ridge in August 2014, we are going to schedule an additional community forum on January 27th at Rogers Park Middle School beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. This session will be in addition to our previously scheduled session on January 13th at Broadview Middle School. In the meantime, we ask that you please visit our website at danbury.k12.ct.us and click on “The Exploration Academies at Mill Ridge” under News and Events. You will find a Concept Paper that provides greater detail on the academies as well as information on the entrance lottery. If you would like to ask a question or request further clarification prior to either the January 13th or January 27th Community Forums, please feel free to call or email me as indicated at the top of this letter.
