Dance Caravan USA This week I was made aware, that currently, all plans for Dance Caravan USA dates (winter/spring and summer) have been canceled. Please make a note of it… I am posting this because I have had lots of interest in attending the event from many, many people… I had someone in my class at BDC yesterday who was excited to take my classes at DCUSA this up coming summer…..I was, and still am, impressed by the amount of support the dance community was offering to seeing DCUSA resurrected. I was taken off guard by how many personal messages I got about how much you loved and remember my tap classes from what feels like a very long time ago. That said, as I personally know many of your were planning to attend the summer event(especially), I am posting this because I didn’t want anyone to make plans to attend this summer knowing that they would soon discover DCUSA is not going to pan out for this season. I didn’t want studio owners, teachers, parents and students preparing for something that is just not going to happen yet. I say yet because with this amount of support I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a second attempt to get Caravan back up and running in 2015. Unfortunately there was unforeseen circumstances that just made it impossible to bring this season to fruition. I hope you all have an excellent competition/convention season now and this summer….and if anyone needs some master classes I suddenly have lots of additional dates available, but not August 30th and 31st..Those dates I will be in London with my first ever tap workshop the London Tap Spree, co-founded by me & my buddy, Veteran tap dancer, Chris Ernest.
