Dancing to the sweet cajun sound of the Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys last night at the Dance Pavilion of the American Folk Festival on the Bangor Waterfront with friends. It was easy to hear and feel why he has won a Grammy! Looking forward today to more of their vibes, and also the blues with Diunna Greenleaf and a the Voice of Cuba Orchestra at the Railroad Stage. Its interesting to see how the far end of the Folk Festival venue has been pushed this year up towards the casino hotel. It seems as though Waterfront Concerts is taking up more and more of the waterfront area leaving less room for our Folk Festival which is going on now for its 15th year! As always the Sea Dog Brewing Company Bangor is a great place for rest, respite, a cool drink and a s gathering spot to catch up with many friends from far and wide!
