Daniel Shinohara, I will SO miss watching you warm up and perform with The Wakeland Band and Drumline. The past four years have gone by VERY quickly -- WOW!!! I TRULY hope that when youre ready to begin your career as a music educator, you have the good fortune to be placed with a program like Wakeland Band. A big THANK YOU to Gerry Miller, Arturo Denis, Adrian Caswell, Sarah Ayala Márquez, Jeremy Gomez, Chad Wood, Shaun Gray, Andy Pruyn, Heath Dillard, Dimitri Higginbotham, Brandon Green, Shane Snyder, Sean Redman, Bill Holden, Clayton Stroup, Pam Meis and, of course, Greg Zintz, for teaching, mentoring and guiding Daniel. Hes got a LONG way to go, however, without you all he wouldnt be where he is today. If I left anyone out, I apologize!!!! THANK YOU to ALL the past and present Wakeland Band Family for supporting all of our student performers through the years. May 2015 and beyond hold only THE BEST in life and marching band for the WHOLE Wakeland Band -- past, present and future...
