Dans grandfather Jerry; our Papa suddenly passed one year ago today. This is a quote from a poem by William Penn that has reminded me of him. They that love beyond the world cannot be separated by it. Death cannot kill what never dies. Papa with his unwavering faith, ever lasting love for The Lord and his devote family values left behind the most amazing legacy. He touched many peoples lives, and he and Grammy (Dolly) built a family full of amazing children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. All that came to know him, adored him and admired him. His beliefs, values, love, and strengths have carried on and into each family that his children have created, and now his grandchildren are carrying on those same attributes into their families. Even though death may have separated us from him in the flesh, he will live on forever with Christ in Heaven and so obviously in this world as well. You can see him still, so very clearly; in the eyes and actions of all those that so deeply loved and cherished him and it is beautiful! Papa, I am honored to be part of your family! Thank you! Till we meet with you again in The Lords house! ❤
