Darve Smith makes me very proud! He just left home early this morning to go to Rice Consolidated where he will be serving as the OAP Contest Manager for District 26AA after having gotten in late last night from his own contest. His own contest?? Yes! Because when there was no one else willing to accept the challenge of OAP in his school district, he, the Director of Technology for TISD, who is already swamped at work, volunteered to not only direct the OAP but to build a theatre program. He also lost his grandmother this week but he is taking it all in stride and going forward. I love you bunches Honey! I am amazed by you!
