Darwin L. Martino May 1, 1944 – August 21, 2013 (One year ago today…) Dad (Papa), throughout our lives, you were an anchor to us. Through all the ups and downs of life, you were always the one constant we could count on. You always loved unconditionally - accepting and loving your children and grandchildren in spite of our faults. We’re so proud of you for so many reasons….you were a man of principles, morals and ethics. I’d settle to be only a fraction of the person you were. Love is something we often take for granted and over time, more and more, we forget the importance of saying the words. I hope you know how much your family loves and misses you. Know that every day for the rest of our lives, you’ll be alive in our hearts. There are no words I can speak to define just how important you were to all of us….and what a powerful guidance you continue to be in our lives….. We love you Dad (Papa).
