Data & Compliance Analyst Youth Development Department Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD) is seeking a visionary and dynamic individual to join the Youth Development team as a Data & Compliance Analyst. Mission of CRCD To better sustain, coordinate and improve local planning, development and community services that address the needs of low-income residents and small businesses in South Los Angeles. Founded in 2005, the Coalition for Responsible Community Development has a unique focus on young people in Vernon-Central (age 16-25), and collaborates with residents, businesses, community-based organizations, civic leaders and Los Angeles Trade Technical College to improve the quality of life in our community. Position Overview Exercising independent judgment, coordinate and handle all aspects of the organization’s databases, compliance and data products, data entry, creating and generating reports, integrating multiple data sources. Evaluating and continuously improving the functioning of overall data systems and compliance usage. Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Assists in the implementation of the compliance and quality program at the agency including collection, analysis and reporting of relevant data • Coordinate and handle all aspects of multiple databases to implement a real time reporting system internally and externally • Oversee accurate data entry, reporting and compliance issues • Provide end user support and recommend new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information • Write queries and create reports by pulling, compiling and analyzing results and the ability to write complex queries for reporting purposes • Design new data structures (e.g., tables, views, stored procedures) • Work closely with staff, interns and volunteers and assess their training needs to work with data • Provide some user support in Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree preferred • Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, MIS System, WIA database systems or customized data entry systems, government compliance requirements, and has the ability to establish systems for collecting data from multiple sources such as collaborative partners • Knowledge and understanding of community development and non-profit sector Salary $35,000 - $45,000 based on experience Application Process Those interested in this position may apply by submitting a cover letter, salary history and resume to: [email protected].
