Date: 1/24/2014 Location: Thomasville Mrs. Esther Aleen Barnhill Mishoe, 70, a resident of 6901 Reddy Foxx Lane, died Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 28, 1943 in Horry County, SC a daughter of Charlie Barnhill and Willie Murrow Barnhill and was a former employee of Thomasville Furniture Industries. She attended Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church in Thomasville. On May 8, 1966 she was married to James Liston Mishoe who survives of the home. Also surviving are three daughters, Sarah Ann Boyette of Trinity, Esther Mishoe Carlyle and her husband Raymond of Trinity, and Janet Carter of Rock Hill, SC; three sons, John Paul Richardson of Thomasville, James Manning Mishoe and his wife Cindy of Lexington, and Robert Edward Mishoe and his wife Tina of Asheboro; five step-sisters, Sally Pearl Edwards of Asheboro, Ida Mae Cardwell of Denton, and Doris Hammonds, Willa Mae Willard, and Shelby Jean Johnson, all of Thomasville; four step-brothers, Horace Turner, Carl Turner, Marshall Turner, and Archie Turner, all of Thomasville. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Christopher Lance Turner, Lauran Nicole Boyette, Aaron Lee Mishoe, Michael Daniel Mishoe, Bretly Lace Mishoe, Timothy Edward Bullins, Angela Marie Bullins, and Roxanne Hensley; seven great-grandchildren, Carson Lance Turner, Mika Gavin Mishoe, Madison Latasha Garris, Talynn Dale Hill, Landon James Bullins, Gunnar Hensley, and Pierce Hensley. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Ann Richardson and Rebecca G. Mishoe; two sisters, Lila Ruth Barton and Doris Marie Alford; two brothers, William Pharoh Barnhill and Kenneth Earl Barnhill; two grandchildren, Jason Dale Hill and Latasha Nicolle Hill; and a great-grandson, Braxton Wayne Mishoe. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1.2014 at 2 PM at Cherry Hill Cemetery in Loris, SC by the Rev. Henry King. The family will receive friends at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Monday from 6 until 8 PM. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Randolph County, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
