Building Material~ Wood Roof ~ New England Saltbox Chimney Type/No.of ~Brick / central Height ~ Two stories and half Fenestration (windows)~ 9 window front; mostly 2/1 sash; 6/6 sash in gable. Overhang ~None Foundation ~Stone Authenticity ~ Modernized Exterior Walls ~ clapboarded. Cornice - simple and molded; projects about 12; close rakes. Porch - new; at front. Setting - overlooks Housatonic River to west. Doorway New door; plain casings. Interior Four fireplaces, three in first story and one in second. Kitchen fireplace has a Dutch oven and a simple molded mantel. Enclosed stairs. No paneling. Beaded edge boards in kitchen, and some beaded board doors. Sunken paneled doors. Cased corner posts.
