Dated December 20, 2014 His Excellency, The President & CIC, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Ph D., GCFR, Aso Villa, Abuja. Sir, How IMO PDP Exploited Gubernatorial Aspirants N300m Plus. Sequel to the general elections for the Gubernatorial contest on the February 28, 2015 to be specific, 27 Gubernatorial aspirants bought IMO PDPs Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms for a whooping sum of N11m each totalling about N300m, for just a position. Out of the 27 aspirants, 4 are from Okigwe, while 23 are from Owerri alone scrambling for just one seat held by Rochas Okorocha. Let me take it that only about 4 aspirants are supposed to be in that race, the rest 23, were just on a wild goose chase, for other settlements, as those who did meaningful jobs to earn their money could not raise such sum. In addition to this sum was the N2m and N1m paid to the 1,064 delegates, respectively for the exercise, amounting to about N3b plus. Without recounting all that transpired during this period, occult, shrine, ogwugwu, bible, elijah or moses books, Imolites could see how dilapidated, unemployment, crime, poor governance are threatening our families, yet just few of our brothers and sisters who are swimming in stolen wealth are desperate to continue in their ignoble lifestyle by coming to lord it over us, when we are yet recuperating from the menace of the incumbent government. PDP Exco leadership in Imo State is a smart one however, but have disappointed the Imolites, with the Elders, by focussing more on material wealth than the real good governance of installing credible leadership and would want to rubber stamp it through the elders. Let me put it straight, that those Elders, whose names appeared on that Newspaper Advertorial, supporting this daylight robbery, should, as a matter if necessity, retract their endorsement same way, before the end of this year or face the wrath of our intelligent youths who are toiling day and night to sustain themselves. What are they endorsing, the robbery that was predetermined and perfected on the day of the election, but was overtaken by the overtakers, with the sole objective of incapacitating or pushing Dr Ikedi Ohakim out of the race, but as God may have it, the hands of the Almighty took over the entire process, to the present day accusations and counter accusations. Without allowing the party to look into it, the legislators have ordered the courts to mandate the party to pronounce them winners with the dubious numbers allocated and was challenged by the overtakers, that there was an over voting among other irregularities, without recourse to the Electoral Guidelines and the normal process of arbitration as stipulated. When the overtakers were in this atmospheric state of mind, the supposed and preferred candidate, Dr Ikedi Ohakim was busy consoling and receiving emissaries from his admirers as well as his supporters and still have the contrite spirit to admonish his colleagues for proper behaviour, as a way of re-building the party. However, without pre-empting the NWC, who may have compromised, like the IMO PDP Executives, if the Presidency cannot call them to order, the effect of this robbery will add to the already tensed situation and mar PDP chances in the next coming elections in 2015. Long live FRN! Long Live PDP!! Long Live the President!!! Yours truly, Dr. Jude Akagbusum, MBF, DMgmt, FCPA, ACA, FCIG. Imo State, with the abundant talent and knowledge freely endowed by God cannot be taken aback in this century by people of negative intelligence. The youths are not indolent or docile and according to Governor Rotimi Amaechi, people will continue to steal because nobody has been stoned publicly. Even in Sharia Law, they are to be amputated and in the Wild West, they are maimed, killed and property raised down by inferno. The mere falsification and distortion of the Peoples will in a democratic dispensation simple means that your billions of naira will find its feet in the wrong peoples pockets, mostly outsiders, while our people will continue in their impoverishment. Some smart cohorts are now excited with this pre determined outcome, accepting corruption as a way of life, forgetting that it is an ill wind, that blows nobody any good. Is that not the main reason why they have been incapacitated by structural unemployment and bad governance? We are very much doubtful, if the party will accept this blatant and vicious attack on the people of Imo State, otherwise, that will amount to continued insensitivity, among other issues. We are not going to dictate what remedial action that will be desirable to address this deliberate breach of trust on the part of the legislators, sent down from Abuja to umpire the primaries for PDP. The people of IMO State are very discerning and at the same time steadfast, therefore, as much as they would want to be identified with the ruling party, that does not fore close numerous options and opportunities available to them, to err is human, and to forgive is divine, in so far as, a stitch in time saves more than nine. IMO is in the Hands of God
