Dating these days sucks! Everyone seems to be disposable and very difficult to find anyone that doesnt drink or smoke pot! And God forbid if a man gets upset if his girl is hanging at a bar, oh yea he must be insecure. Now throw in a young child when your 44 and that creates a whole new set of problems. People my age usually have had their kids much younger, have done that and their kids are grown up. This all brings me to another thought, when I first went through divorce and primarily had my son on the weekends I would go to Owen Bell Park. I realized that 95% of the gender were guys with their children. Then I realized moms in most (not all) cases had the weekends off. So any guy that was decent enough to be a father was at the park......mom was out at the club, and what kind of men was mom likely to meet then? Thats the trend now, hook up, have a kid, split up, the guy pays the woman ransom money so he can see his own children and mom has extra money to buy cocktails on the weekends. Mom usually tries to meet The One at the bar. Then mom brings that great guy home and the children have to put up with him. I recently just cancelled my membership on a dating site what a joke that was. Almost every woman I talked to had the weekends off without their children. Well thats fine if you are a 44 year old guy who loves the bar, doesnt have a life, doesnt see his kids, doesnt pay that ransom money I mentioned earlier and doesnt give a **** about anyone but himself. But if you are a dad that steps up to the plate, has a life, pays the ransom, and actually takes his kids you are out of luck my friend!
