Dave Murrays Latest STL forecast and weather disco….THE WEEKEND...AUGUST 16-17, 2014: *** Cloudy, warm and very humid with waves of wet just in time for the weekend...rain will be heavy at times...severe weather looks limited*** SATURDAY: A mix of clouds and sun...warm and humid with some showers and storms...dry time but we watch the sky...especially mid to late afternoon(there will be asome showers first thing in the morning) WINDS: South 10-20 m.p.h. HIGH: 88 degrees. SATURDAY NIGHT: Rain and storms...heavy rain at times WINDS: South 5-15 m.p.h. LOW: 72 degrees. SUNDAY: Periods of rain and storms...heavy rain at times WINDS: South 5-15 mph HIGH: 85 degrees Warm and humid next week with spot storms...mainly in the afternoon THE WEATHER DISCO: The pleasant and dry weather of the week is gone...an interesting low pressure takes hold..slow moving and hangs the bulk of the weekend...this looks more and more like the system we had last Thursday...so more of a rain event...heavy rain at times with some storms...limited severe weather...so this is a wet and unsettled weekend...the heavu rain will focus on Saturday night and into Sunday...next week...a zonal flow and all about that summer feel...warm to hot and very humid and in turn there will be some spot thunderstorms around...mainly in the afternoon and early evening hours.
