David Cameron has been in government almost five years now and has done nothing about immigration he has spent most of the five years trying to dress up his failures to look like successes...BUT hey there is an election on the horizon. The truth is Cameron is selling Britain as a low wage low tax country using smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that those low wages have to be subsidised by the taxpayer though tax credits BUT because of low pay we are not generating enough tax to meet the rising costs of benefits. Companies advertise low paid jobs abroad knowing they will be topped up by benefits, if a living wage was brought in by law these companies would have no incentive to advertise abroad......It is NOT the fault of the immigrants it is government policy which is to blame. Their own lie about self employment as backfired immigrants or anyone can say they are self employed and are not earning a minimum wage and get benefits.... Maybe they should have spent more time chasing tax avoiders like Amazon and Apple to get some tax revenue in the treasury coffers because low wages will not do that as we are seeing now... Migrants from the European Union will have to work in Britain for a minimum of four years before they can claim benefits, David Cameron will propose on Friday in a major speech setting out a vision of how the EU can control the free movement of workers – and how he is willing to leave the union if he does not get his way. In an attempt to restore his shattered credibility on immigration, the prime minister will say that Britain’s EU membership is now dependent on nation states being able to withhold almost all benefits from EU migrants.” theguardian/politics/2014/nov/27/david-cameron-european-union-immigration
