Day 1 Song 1 Aaj Se Pehele Aaj se Jyada Film Chitchor Dedicated to my friend Late Lt. Sanjeev Singh Juneja (IN) This song has a special relevance our lives, the life of each one of us from the last batch of ISC (XI th) and First batch of ICSE (X th of 10+2) of St. Peter’s College, Agra, as our classmate Late Lt. Sanjeev Singh Juneja (Indian Navy) sang this song during farewell in Nov 1976. A few years later on 01 Nov 1984, in the aftermath of the assassination of Mrs. Gandhi, he was burnt alive by a raging mob, in uniform, just before Tughlakabad Railway station, while on his way to Delhi…..his fault, he was a Sikh and thought Sikhs in uniform will not have to face the fury of the goons on rampage and they are safe. He paid for his misgivings about the mob and we till date have not gotten over the shock. Sanjeev always had a song for every occasion but maybe he did not have one for dowsing the fire lit up by his killer ….He is still alive in our hearts through his melodious voice and the quality hockey & Cricket he played, and of course his Jindadilli!!!!!!!
