Day 1: Thankful for the outcome Today, I cant help but reflect and remember how high school was for me. I was very different (obviously) lol. I just stuck to myself for the most part. I went through many stages, and looking back I would say I was weird. Just trying to figure myself out. Was it an easy trip through high school for me? Not at all! Yet somehow, I managed to keep a positive attitude and maintain a smile to the public. Everything that happened made me who I am today. Do I wish it were easier, that people were nicer, more accepting? Maybe. If people werent so horrible in high school maybe I could have focused on my studies and grades more and had a better GPA. Instead of worrying constantly, and contemplating suicide sometimes. Luckily I had a few friends that helped get me through (that Im still friends with). But Im very happy to see where I am today. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I am proud to see myself become the strong woman that I have. It was by far an easy journey, but Im here. Living a wonderful life surrounded by great people :) I managed to keep my faith in God and he helped me through some tough times! My reason for this post is simply to tell everyone, be mindful of what you say to others. Love and ACCEPT everyone. You never have to agree, just accept. Have a blessed weekend everyone! XOXO J.S.
