Day 1.Today we woke up knowing that today was the day we were travelling to Romania on our trip of a life time. Our long journey started at 6 am when we all met at the Carrickdale, where we met Mr Burns who waved us off. We arrived at Dublin airport at 7:15,got our breakfast and boarded the flight at 10:30. Arriving in Bucharest, we then travelled to our destination Brasov. Accommodation and food excellent. We ended our first night by having a singsong and listening to music. A great end to the day! Day 2. Wake up call was at 7:45am, had breakfast and got bus at 9:30. We travelled a long journey to The boys orphanage Dacia. The boys were shy and reserved when we first arrived, but our charm and bubbly personalities soon brought them around. Bananas became guns and the craic was 90! After the boys home, we had our lunch break and shared our food with local deserving children. We then entered the girls orphanage Rupea. The girls there were energetic and entertaining! There was dancing,singing and we learnt a Romanian national dance. The girls were great at getting our shy boys up for a bit of dancing/twerking-(pictures to follow). A few snapchat names were exchanged and we were on our way to the town of Brasov! Here we squeezed through the narrowest street in Europe and visited the black church! It was great to experience Romanian culture. After dinner this evening, we organised the gifts we brought over with us for the local people and settled down for a quiet night of banter before an early start in the morning!
