Day 1 of the Happiness Project! Thanks for the tag, Paula Gadowski Watkinson. 1 - Although it used to be my job to confiscate cameras and stop patrons from videotaping live performances at the theatre where I worked (as each performance is copyrighted on multiple levels) my deep gratitude goes out to all of the people who continue to tape ballet performances all over the world and then post them on You Tube. I just watched an absolutely crazy performance of the Corsaire pas de trois by Johan Cobborg, Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev that is nothing short of a spine-tingling taste of ballet Nirvana. Thank you, Person Who Shouldnt Have Taped It. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 2 - Enjoyed a dinner out on the deck at the Halifax waterfront with a sistah friend. People-and-dog-watched, listened to the live music drift outside and watched the sunset settle over the water. 3 - On the way home, I chased the almost-full supermoon out to Eastern Passage, parked by the water and just sat mesmerized by the diamond reflections on the pulsing ocean.
