Day 1 of the thanks relay. I am still not a fan of anything relay which brings a pyramid effect, especially because I do not fully support the ongoing ice bucket challenge fad (However, I do support all other unfortunate souls of the world, including the ALS patients) But I now that I have been nominated by the Carnegie Hall-performing, best trumpet player Ive ever known in my life, who is also a very respectable Christian, I began to think that sharing and relaying a positive and uplifting opportunity to reflect in todays times are good things to do. Thanks, Yo Sun Yoo for thinking of me for the nomination. To start off Day 1, here are the 3 things that I am thankful for: 1. Thank you, Father God, for loving me unconditionally even before my birth, and sacrificing your Son Jesus Christ, so I may have an eternal life near your throne. 2. Thank you, my parents and brother Elliott Kim, for displaying your true love, affection, and care towards me through various circumstances. You are irreplaceable and I wouldnt be where I am without your continous support and love. 3. Thank you, So Young Park, my loving wife for choosing me and agreeing to share the rest of your precious life with me and the kids. Your love, commitment, and sacrifices are immesuarable and I am a better man because of you. I love you. I nominate the following 3 peopel to participate in this thanks relay for the next 3 days. I nominate Vinh Khoang, my very first and best high school buddy and also the best friend at Cerritos High School. Although we havent really spent time with each other in the last 10+ years, you are always will be in my heart. 2. I nominate Paul Liang, my other best high school buddy and a devil dog from Cerritos High. Same for Paul, we havent really communicated or spent time in the last 10+ years, I know that the high school friends last a lifetime. 3. I nominate Davide Tortorici, who was Gods immediate answer to my prayer when the Unified Worship was being established almost 7 years ago. Davide is a brother to me. We went through so many trials and triumphs together through faith, prayers, and dedications.
