Day 11: July 26th: We saw the Changing of the Guards... It was extremely crowded, so we could only see part of it. But it was still really neat, and the band was majestic! We bought our tickets for Buckingham Palace!!!! We are going Monday! We had tea, scones, and split panini for lunch at a cute little place behind the palace. We took the tube to St Johns Wood and walked down to Lord Cricket Stadium. We took the tour of the stadium, and the guide placed Julie into the Queens seat and referred to her as her majesty a few times!!! The property was beautiful and we even went up into the media box. Afterwards we walked to Paul McCartneys house. (Our guide book actually had his address!) Sorry to say, there were no sightings! Mom and I then walked Abbey Road crosswalk as Julie took our picture! Then we took the bus... For moms sake... We went back to Oxford Circus and then walked across the theater district through Soho and Coventry Garden to get to the New London theater for tonights showing of War Horse! It is amazing! And the puppetry is unbelievable.
