Day 15 and I am grateful for the first travel day to my winter home. Sunny and brisk, but made Fredrick, MD by 4:30 pm after leaving Willsboro at 6:30 am we stopped in Glens Falls for breakfast and somewhere in PA for lunch at Dennys for a delicious grilled cheddar cheese sandwich. We were supposed to stay in Hagerstown, MD, but the reservation girl gave me the wrong directions so we had already passed it when I called to say what is up. So because of that little mistake, we had to take the only room in Fredrick at the Marriott Residence Inn. Very nice but more expensive. But we are safe and comfortable for the night and closer to the auto train for tomorrow. I understand it is not very warm in FL.
