Day 16 - wasnt sure just what to list to be thankful for today - have so many things, but in tying Bobs shoes this morning, the one button used for him to loop his lace on once it is tied, popped off. Found it right away, but the little plastic threads are stripped, so it wont work on the little metal screw base any more. Due to his having an accident yesterday, I had to wash his shoes in the washer, and since it was covered in poo, couldnt take it out - apparently it got pulled off and thus the threads are stripped! Now with all of this, what do I have to be thankful for? My left hand is damaged from my ulnar nerve being trapped and from the index finger getting caught in a D ring on a jumping dogs collar, it is kind of caddy-whumpus! But with doing therapy last year and then continuing it on my own, I can once again tie his shoes! So, I am thankful for the ability to tie his shoes for him! But I am open to any suggestions on how to reuse that button - any ideas? LOL
