Day 16 – Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.! We have lots to do! Demands at work, from family, and other commitments can be exhausting. Some days we even feel like we went to war and life challenged us from the time we rolled out of bed until we were able to roll back in exhausted. When we make time to be with Him, He will equip you to meet all the challenges of the day. Out of your quiet place you will emerge armed with truth, peace, and righteousness. Ready to cut through the day with the word of God and armored to defend against all fiery attacks. Just as we get dressed every day, dress yourself in the armor of God!! Tip of the day: Pray in the spirit for a committed amount of time (5 minutes) and then sit quietly for 5 minutes to hear God speak to you. Write down anything you hear Him speak to you.!
